Every day we are bombarded with new ideas, people, and choices that force us to make countless decisions. These decisions may often seem small but contribute in large part to the way we carry ourselves through the world. Each decision adds up and adds a new layer to who we are. And for most of us, we are trying to make decisions that allow us to be the best version of ourselves in all respects - the best partner, employee/employer, friend, parent, etc. The problem is, when we try to be the best at everything, we often find ourselves in a jumbled identity, making decisions that often put us at odds with ourselves. Ex. Should I spend the time making dinner every night to ensure I eat a healthy meal or should I pick something up so I can get back to work? We lose site of who we are at our core and get caught in the chaos and bustle of the outside world and maintaining our superficial place in it. In this hands-on workshop, we will dive deeper into the inner workings of our mind and who we are at our core. We will redefine our values and explore the ways our current lifestyle allows us to live a life in line with our values and what gets in the way. Through SMART goal setting and group discussion, each attendee will make a road map outlining next steps to shift their perspective and decision making to maintain a consistent root in their values.
